The Outpost Montana is a unique micro hotel established in 2019, located in the historic Waterman Building on Main Street in Belgrade, Montana.

Set within a beautifully historic building, The Outpost was designed to offer something different from a traditional hotel stay. The concept blends the comfort and convenience of modern hospitality with shared European-style influences, while preserving the original character of the building and the strong sense of community that makes downtown Belgrade special.

Our hotel is thoughtfully designed for travellers who appreciate charm, simplicity, comfort, and location. Whether you are visiting Belgrade for business, passing through on your way to Yellowstone, attending a local event, or exploring everything Montana has to offer, The Outpost provides a welcoming and memorable place to stay.

Located in the heart of downtown Belgrade, The Outpost is close to local shops, restaurants, coffee spots, outdoor destinations, and community favourites. We are also conveniently located only one mile from Yellowstone International Airport, making us an ideal choice for guests arriving or departing from the Bozeman area.

A Truly Unique Hotel Experience

The Outpost offers a boutique-style micro hotel experience with a distinctive layout. Our rooms do not include private in-room restrooms or showers. Instead, guests have access to shared but fully private restroom and shower facilities located within the hotel.

​

Each restroom and shower space is designed to provide privacy, comfort, and cleanliness. Our detached non-ensuite facilities are deep cleaned daily and carefully maintained by our team. The building includes seven non-ensuite restroom facilities, along with full private shower access and extra optional amenities available in each shower room.

Each hotel room is equipped with an ensuite hand sink, personal towels, a robe, and other thoughtful amenities to help make your stay comfortable. Extra towels and select additional products are also available by request.
